Injectable Fillers

Dermal injectable fillers are a non-surgical option to treat signs of aging by restoring volume to the face and correcting the depression of permanent wrinkles. Typical injection sites include the cheeks, smile lines, lips, chin, jawline and nose.

There are many different types of fillers available. Dr. Mahoney most commonly uses hyaluronic acid fillers that have a reliable safety profile and use the latest cross-linking technology to offer longer-lasting results. Results typically last 9-12 months. Different fillers are used for different areas. Dr. Mahoney individualizes each treatment plan based on each patient's goals and an expert assessment.

    • Deep depressions around the mouth (nasolabial folds and marionette lines)

    • Cheek contours

    • Depressed scars

    • Fine vertical lines around the lips

    • The upper and lower lips

  • Results are immediate and typically last 9-12 months.

  • Recovery time is minimal. Do not massage or squeeze the treatment area. Refrain from aggressive exercise or elevating your blood pressure for the first 24 hours after your procedure. It is possible to have some bruising or slight swelling in the first 24-48 hours, depending on the area injected.
