Breast Asymmetry

It's a common natural variance for women to have subtle differences between their breasts, a condition referred to as breast asymmetry. These distinctions can be observed in aspects such as size, nipple alignment, or the overall silhouette of the breasts. When the degree of asymmetry is more pronounced, it may evoke a sense of self-consciousness or discomfort.

The primary aim of surgical intervention for breast asymmetry is to achieve a harmonious balance in both the size and shape of the breasts. It's often a comprehensive approach, where both breasts are assessed and treated to attain the most aesthetically pleasing proportionality. A range of surgical techniques, including breast augmentation, reduction, and lifting, are meticulously employed to address breast asymmetry.

It’s important to note that no surgical techniques can make breasts exactly the same, and it's generally advisable to allow the breasts to reach their full developmental stage before exploring corrective measures for breast asymmetry.

  • The procedure is carried out under general anesthesia.

  • Procedure time is variable depending on the techniques used – ranging from 1.5-2.5 hours.

  • There is a recovery time of 2 weeks. Upper body exercises may resume at four weeks.
