Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, is a surgery to take away extra skin and fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids. It can help fix droopy upper eyelids and baggy lower eyelids, giving you a fresher and more rested look.
It can be done along with a facelift or other facial surgeries.
-
The scars are well hidden in the natural creases of the upper and/or lower eyelids.
-
The procedure is typically carried out under local anesthesia (upper lid only) or general anesthesia (lower lid).
-
Procedure time is 1.5-2.5 hours.
-
Recovery time is around 2 weeks, and some swelling may persist for up to 3 months. Vigorous exercise may resume at 6 weeks.
