Labial Reduction (Labiaplasty)
Some women experience enlarged labia. This can cause discomfort with activity and embarrassment in certain clothing. Labial reduction (labiaplasty) is a surgical procedure that reduces the size of the labia by removing the excess tissue.
Scarring is very minimal once the incisions are healed.
Labial reduction surgery may be carried out under local or general anesthesia. Procedure time is approximately 1 hour, with a recovery time of 1 week. Vigorous exercise and sexual activity may resume at 6-8 weeks after surgery.
